The park is shaded by beautiful, old elm trees in summer, has a barbeque area, gamed room and playground. Site 19 is at the quieter end of the park, away from barbeque, games and playground area, and has its own private car park to side of van. Vehicle entry and exit is by security gates. There are traffic lights for a safe crossing over to the child-friendly beach which is 2 minutes away, and on the opposite side of the park is a recently built 24 hours Coles Express service station. This 22 ft caravan was built in 1986. It has been extremely loved and appreciated and kept immaculate by the previous owners and myself. It is a quaint, cosy and comfortable ‘home’ and an absolute pleasure to stay in. It has been smoke-free and pet-free. It’s location on the Mornington Peninsula and proximity to the beach is a bonus. Full Description: The Pinnacles Caravan Park takes its name from the local naturally occurring rock formations. The town of Cervantes is a 2 hour drive from Perth on the new coastal highway. The Caravan Park features onsite caravans, chalets for hire and camping areas. Onsite is also a coffee shop/ cafe and adjacent is a well appointed playground, great for keeping the kids busy after fishing! The fishing jetty is only a 100m walk from the caravan park. The 17 ft caravan has had a recent make over. Whilst keeping the charm of a vintage van, we freshened up the paint work and deco and now it has a distinctive 'retro' colour scheme and look. It was a very popular transformation with our 4 young children. The kitchen is well stocked with brand new appliances, including a fridge (see photo for size), toaster, kettle, rice cooker and fat free grill. Also included is a microwave, in addition to this, the BBQ facilities onsite are excellent. The caravan park has had a recent power upgrade, allowing for the installation of an air con (not included). Newly renovated ablution blocks are only 20m away. The fees are charged quarterly ($1000.00), rather than weekly and you receive 35 nights free per year for max 2 people per night. Additional people pay $25 per night, and this fee also applies after your free nights run out. Children are charged at about $4.00 per night. There is an area of grass adjacent to the annex that is available for building a patio structure, however council approval must be obtained. At present, we sleep 6 comfortably (2 adults, 4 children), but it does have the capacity to sleep a few more on the bench seats in the van that convert to beds. Also another bunk bed could be placed where the single bed is. The sleeping area in the annex is self contained by heavy backed curtains, meaning that adults can easily watch TV at night in the same room. The bedroom within the van contains a double bed.
